Charity Work

All charity work undertaken at our school is carefully chosen to reflect themes that children can relate to or are learning about in school. We ensure that pupils are informed in an age-appropriate way about the difficulties people may face, while also developing their understanding of stereotypes and more complex issues. This approach helps children build empathy, awareness, and a sense of social responsibility.

Reverse Advent for Brereton Food Bank, CHANCE Changing Lives and Save The Children December 2025.

The children kindly donated items to be donated between the charities above, or donated money to Save the Children, a charity chosen by the Faith In Action group who had chosen  to do what they can to support families and children affected by war in their FIDS group in the Autumn term.

Elf Run for St. Luke's Hospice

Thursday 11th of December 2025 saw us all put on our Elf hats and hopped, skipped and jumped for St. Lukes Hospice. The children laughed as they ran around our grounds and it was supported by all of our families and friends who sponsored us and helped us to raise a massive £1,909.20!

Food Bank Appeal

As a school we were overwhelmed again by the amount of foodstuff donated to our local food banks; CHANCE Changing lives and Brereton Food Bank.
